AIRDESK Extends Wireless Data Solutions with Nokia M2M Products

Broadens Capabilities and Resources in M2M

PHILADELPHIA, PA, April 15, 2003 - AIRDESK, Inc., a leading provider of wireless data solutions, today announced an agreement with Nokia, the world leader in mobile communications, to add Nokia's M2M (Machine-to-Machine) products to its wireless data solutions capabilities. Under the agreement, AIRDESK's extensive client base will have access to Nokia equipment and software that provide machine-to-machine communication solutions for remote monitoring and control applications.

The Wireless Data Research Group forecasts the worldwide Machine-to-Machine market to grow to over $28 billion by 2007. As a result, AIRDESK is actively expanding its capabilities in this area. In mid-March, AIRDESK announced a relationship with Verizon Wireless where it became the first provider telemetry services based on Verizon Wireless' new data-only pricing plans. M2M wireless telemetry consists of the transfer of data over a wide-area, wireless network between two or more non-mobile or mobile machines for monitoring or controlling purposes.
