Meet AIRDESK's Senior Management:
Michael W. Lang
Michael Lang has been active in the wireless data industry since its inception in 1988. The majority of his career has been spent developing wireless and Internet companies. In 1997, Mr. Lang formed AIRDESK, which has grown to more than 4,000 customers and generated revenues of more than $60 million under his leadership. Mr. Lang has formed numerous partnerships with leading wireless vendors and has guided AIRDESK to its current position as the leading provider of wireless data solutions focused on machine-to-machine communications.
Prior to launching AIRDESK, Mr. Lang founded MobileQuest, a regional wireless phone supplier that grew to more than 17,000 customers in the Philadelphia region. During the same timeframe, Mr. Lang co-founded DynaNet, a Pennsylvania-base Web site development, hosting and service company, which was sold to Verio, a national Web hosting provider in 1997. Mr. Lang's first success in the wireless industry was growing DynaTek, a company focused on wireless voice and data product distribution, from $300,000 to more than $6 million in revenue in three years. Mr. Lang received a B.A. in Marketing from Moravian College.
John J. Andre
John Andre has more than 24 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, half of which were spent specializing in wireless data applications. Mr. Andre joined AIRDESK in 1999. In his current role, Mr. Andre is focused on building relationships with key wireless vendors and service providers of data communications that help to strengthen AIRDESK's comprehensive M2M solutions. During his tenure with AIRDESK, Mr. Andre has worked to identify and develop special applications for vertical markets as well as to build a national sales force and dealer network.
Prior to joining AIRDESK, Mr. Andre spent more than 20 years with Motorola, Inc. He served as a Senior Account Executive for the cellular OEM data market, where he played a key role in launching programs and developing new revenue channels in the wireless data industry. Mr. Andre spent eight years as a U.S. Sales Manager for Motorola, managing all domestic sales of Triton Marine Communications. Mr. Andre began his career at Motorola as a Credit Analyst. Mr. Andre received his B.S. in Business Management from Northern Illinois University.
